Thanksgiving Baking Time...

So my mother in law got a brand new kitchen this summer and she has been so excited and dreaming of the day this would happen for years. She is a big host and has been doing it out of her tiny little kitchen for years. Her dream has come true and she can now have more than 2 people in there cooking at a time. We had our first cooking party over there the week of Thanksgiving and we all made some goodies for our own Thanksgiving dinners we were having later in the week. We all were pumped b/c we were learning how to make some things we have never attempted before. I made my first cheese cake and it was so much easier than I thought it would be!! Some other first were pecan pie, homemade crust, pumpkin cheese cake, shortbread, pumpkin chocolate muffins and an apple pie. It was a fun night and I hope one that will become a tradition each year!
